Day trip to Capri from Naples by hydrofoil today . There’s two town on Capri , Capri town itself , this is where most of the hotels and restaurant is situated . Anacapri a town that is plateau above Capri , where you need to take bus to , therefore accommodation in Anacapri is generally cheaper and the town is quiet and more peaceful compare to Capri town .
After I arrive Capri by hydrofil , I then quicky go to the port where the private boat is waiting and hop on it for Blue Grotto and boat tour around Capri island . However due to the choppy wave ( as you can see from some of my pictures above ) and weather condition, the row boat unable to go into the blue grotto which is quite disappointing as I was really looking forward for this and I am only there for 1 day so this is my only chance. We got no choice but to skipped this and continue on with the boat tour . After the boat tour we head the famous little square, the Piazzetta , to chill and take a rest before heading back to Naples .
Top scenic panoramas include views of the Bay of Naples, the Faraglioni Rocks and the Gardens of Augustus . The best view of the Faraglioni ( three towering rock formations ) however, is by sea during island boat tour. Your skipper sometimes will sail right through the stone archway of the Faraglione di Mezzo .
